Hill's creative practice has developed from an initial focus on lettering into highly detailed artworks for commercial illustrations, private commissions and personal works. Hear from Hill in the thick of her early career about what it means to stand your ground as an independent creative woman.
With a distinctive style based in constant experimentation of textures and letterforms, Hill’s mixed media works can be seen across numerous large scale murals, along with client work for Penguin Books UK, Colab Eyewear, Vault 49, Jac+Jack VFNO and The Michelberger Hotel Berlin.
As Hill's experimentation and process continues, so too does her push into a more multidisciplinary approach, manipulating her bold aesthetic for use across small run print, video art direction, illustrative lettering workshops and new solo shows.
Thomas Jackson who reigns from Sydney, Illustrates, paints street murals, & painstakingly creates smaller scale works for exhibitions & galleries.
Reconstructing his inspirations from wild life & animals, dilapidated man-made structures & the every day imagery of life. All in an attempt to show the beauty of ‘mans’ ability to use the resources he has at his disposal for his desired structures, dwellings & working environments, Mans disposable nature then discards or forgets about these beautiful eyesores while nature dose not.
He creates a magical world of illustrative detail in his paintings. Investing himself into his work is key to his development, & work ethic that is evident in the intricate details from his works.
